‘Rap godfather’ Gil Scott-Heron played a rare live show at Edinburgh’s Picture House in 2010, promoting the release of his new album, I’m New Here (XL). Here is a video clip of him performing The Bottle, probably his most famous song. I had the pleasure of meeting the man after the gig. He was a proper charmer.
